Sleeping Pills

These "sleeping pills" were introduced to me by a fireman buddy of mine (Micah), and make a great breakfast treat. They are easy to make and can be made ahead of time and frozen.

Ingredients

  • 3 packages of croissant rolls (Use the butter croissants for the best taste)
  • 8oz stick of cream cheese
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese (sharp or mild cheddar, or cheddar jack)
  • 1 package of maple sausage (Jimmy Dean Maple preffered)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Brown the sausage in a skillet
  3. Drain the sausage and mix together with the cream cheese and shredded cheese
  4. Take the croissants, one stick at a time to ensure they don't get too warm, and roll them out flat
  5. Plop a good helping of the sausage and cheese mixture onto the croissant and roll it up
  6. Back for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown
